General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd, trading as Hinterland Bullion Co.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Products
Our bullion products are individually hand cast and hand finished. As a result, each bar may display natural variations in shape, surface texture, colour, finish, dimensions and appearance.
These variations are characteristic of the hand-casting process and are not considered defects.
Product photographs are representative only. As each bar is individually produced, the product received may vary in appearance from images displayed on our website.
Purity & Weight
Product purity, weight and specifications are stated on the relevant product page.
Where a product is sold with a minimum stated weight, the supplied product will meet or exceed that minimum weight.
Bullion products may be verified using appropriate testing and analysis methods as described on the relevant product page or accompanying certificate.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice.
Changes to prices will not affect an order that has already been successfully placed, paid for and accepted by Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd.
Bullion & Market Prices
Precious metal and bullion prices may fluctuate according to market conditions.
The price displayed at the time an order is placed applies to that order, subject to successful payment and order confirmation.
Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd does not provide financial, taxation or investment advice.
Customers are responsible for making their own purchasing decisions and should not purchase bullion based on any representation or expectation regarding future commodity prices, investment performance or financial returns.
Orders
All orders are subject to product availability, production capacity, successful payment and confirmation.
As our bullion is hand cast and produced in batches, fulfilment and dispatch times may vary depending on order volume, product availability and production demand.
We reserve the right to delay, decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, a pricing or listing error has occurred, payment cannot be verified, or legal or regulatory requirements prevent us from proceeding.
Where an order is cancelled by Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd and payment has already been received, an appropriate refund will be provided unless otherwise required by law.
Payment
Payment must be completed in full prior to dispatch or collection unless otherwise agreed by Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd.
An order is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully received and accepted by Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd.
We may use third-party payment providers to process payments made through our website.
Anti-Money Laundering & Regulatory Compliance
Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd complies with applicable obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and associated regulations and rules.
We may require a customer to provide identification, verification information or other information reasonably required to satisfy our legal and regulatory obligations.
This may include information relating to identity, beneficial ownership, authority to act on behalf of another person or entity, the nature or purpose of a transaction and, where applicable, the source of funds or source of wealth.
We reserve the right to delay, suspend, decline or cancel an order where required information cannot be obtained or satisfactorily verified, where we are required to do so by law, or where proceeding with the transaction would be inconsistent with our legal or regulatory obligations.
Customers must not deliberately divide, structure or otherwise arrange transactions for the purpose of avoiding identification, reporting or other regulatory requirements.
Information collected for these purposes may be retained, used and disclosed where required or authorised by Australian law.

Delivery
Orders are carefully packaged and dispatched using trusted postal and courier services.
Orders with available stock are typically dispatched within 1–5 business days. Due to the hand-cast nature of our products, production schedules, order volumes and demand may affect dispatch timeframes.
Most orders are prepared and dispatched within 5–10 business days.
Larger orders, custom orders or periods of exceptionally high demand may require up to 14 business days for dispatch (or more).
All production and dispatch timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant delays.
Once an order has been dispatched, Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, courier providers, weather events, industrial action or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
Collection
Where collection is offered, collection is by prior arrangement only.
Customers must wait for confirmation from Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd before attending an agreed collection location.
We may require identification or proof of purchase before releasing an order.
Risk & Ownership
Ownership of products passes to the customer once payment has been received in full.
For delivered orders, risk passes to the customer upon delivery, subject to any rights the customer may have under Australian Consumer Law.
For orders collected in person, risk passes to the customer when the products are collected.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of bullion products and fluctuations in commodity and market prices, we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
Returns, refunds or exchanges are also not offered for incorrect selections made by the customer, subject always to the customer’s rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Customised or personalised products cannot be returned for change of mind.
If a product arrives damaged, defective or is not as described, please contact Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd within a reasonable timeframe after receiving your order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Where required under Australian Consumer Law, Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund.
Certificates & Serial Numbers
Where specified, bullion products may be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity, serial number or other identifying information.
Certificates and serial numbers are provided for identification, authentication and record-keeping purposes and should be retained by the customer.
Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, pricing and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, errors may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions and to update website information where necessary.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the purchase, ownership or use of its products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to These Terms
Hinterland Bullion Co Pty Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business operations or legal and regulatory requirements.
The current version of these Terms & Conditions will be published on our website.
